// About AEDA

Welcome

The Arab Eating Disorders Association (AEDA) is a pioneering regional organisation committed to transforming the landscape of eating disorder awareness, support, and treatment across the Arab world. Founded by a diverse group of leading clinicians, researchers, and advocates, AEDA was created in response to a critical gap in care—particularly the lack of culturally relevant and Arabic-language resources.

  • Bridging the Gap. Breaking the Stigma.

Our Mission

At AEDA, our mission is to make comprehensive support for eating disorders accessible to everyone across the Arab world, while championing the inclusion of Arabic voices, values, and experiences in every aspect of care.
